Dance Showcase 2010!
Last year, I went to watch some of my friends in the dance showcase to support their efforts to win top GCSE grades. However, seen as though that I know absolutely nothing about dance, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the show. As Years 9, 10, 11 and sixth form demonstrated their dancing talents with a range of different dancing styles from Contemporary and R&B to Ballet.

The last time Britain had a coalition government was in 1945 after the defeat of Germany, however following the recent election a deal has been made between conservatives and liberal democrats to form a new coalition government as none of the parties managed to gain the majority of the votes.
Nanny McPhee
Last week Newsround gave Nanny McPhee and The Big
Bang (released on March 26th 2010) a rate of four out of a possible five. I
personally would rate the film much lower - I much preferred the first
film.

Even the music world has been overturned by this highly talented group of teens and teachers.
EMA - Useful or controversial?
Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) is distributed throughout the country to college students above 16. It is affected by the attendance and grades of students who are in college; this is not a compulsory education therefore for most people who get EMA it acts as a bribe to encourage students to attend all their lessons.

The NME awards were dominated by three great British bands Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and Muse. While the Brit awards were conquered by American pop queen, Lady Gaga, as well as JLS, a boyband who entered the world of music via the massively popular X Factor and Simon Cowell, who was nominated in the villain of the year category at the NME awards.
Terryble Start
So much for dreaming of winning the world cup this summer, when an Egyptian team, that didn't even qualify, had us chasing the game at half time. Yet, Capello made some super subs to ensure we saved some good old three lion pride, as it ended 3-1.
