Call of Duty: Black Ops

Call of Duty is one of the best-selling games series' in the world and there latest game is no exception. It was released on Tuesday the 9th of November 2010, to an audience of 50,000 people, as well as having over 13 million pre orders. It was by no doubt the biggest game release of the year.
The story in Call of Duty: Black Ops is an emotional journey through one quite unlucky American soldier. The story starts off in Cuba, with a mission that takes you through the streets in an epic battle against militia. After this the story goes through Russia, including a quite intense mission inside of a Russian prison camp. On this mission you are required to team up with other inmates, in order to escape through the tunnels and roads outside the camp. The story progresses through Vietnam and eventually to America, before finishing up on a ship, called the Rusulka, in the middle of the Atlantic. On board the ship is an end of the world broadcast weapon, which you must destroy, along with the ship. You have to use helicopters to help you complete this mission and afterwards you must go to the ocean bed to destroy the numbers station by hand. It is really exciting and tense.
Another great feature of Black Ops is the online mode, which has a great range of weapons and character customisation. But, like all Call of Duty games, the online experience is too unrealistic and allows hackers easy access.
In addition, Black Ops also features zombies. I find that this is really good fun, as it enables you to play individually, as well as with a group of friends, against zombies. The zombies, in Black Ops, have no weapons and with the new addition of perks, and improved map layouts, the zombie mode is something you definitely don't want to miss.
Call of Duty is good game, with so many great features. However, when Activision, or any of the other companies that are with the Call of Duty series, finally crack online game play, I believe call of duty will become a great game and not just a good one.
